We made this RPG to have fun, so please follow these rules. If you don't follow them, the RPG will no longer be fun- not to mention that it will make Tater, Res, Rain, and any other staffers quite angry. We will try to be lax- depending on the rule- but punishments can vary from a PM warning to a warning in your miniprofile, of various percentages.
Every account will automatically be given $2,000 to start off with. Characters who have a job (in OR outiside of Wal*Mart) will be given their job's salary every Friday.

>>Do not double-post. Simply put, it's annoying. There's a "modify" button for a reason! If your post has gone unreplied to for three days or more, then you may bump it once, and then you'll have to wait another three days.

>>Keep IC matters IC, and OOC matters OOC. There's no reason one should affect the other.

>>Do not fight with other members. If they're doing somethnig wrong, either let staff take care of it, or kindly tell them not to do it.

>>We realize it could be difficult to make large posts, considering that this RPG takes place mainly in Wal*Mart, so the minimum post is pretty lax- minimum of one-hundred-fifty (150) words per post. it honestly isn't that much to ask for.

>>For my sanity, the staff's sanity, and everyone else's sanity, use good grammar! I don't want to see chatspeak anywhere, even in the ChatBox. It's annoying. Also, make sure you're using the right "there", "your", etc. ("Their"/"They're"/"There";"You're"/"Your";"It's"/"Its", and so on and so forth.) Even though this is a lighthearted RPG, we're going to take this seriously.

>>No Mary-Sue's or Gary Stu's. Even for a Wal*Mart RPG they are really, REALLY annoying and n00bish. So don't make them.

>>Make as many characters as you want, but you MUST fill out a character application for each of them, and have them on separate account (because of our money code. Don't want people pooling two characters' money together.) Also {this is optional} it would help if your character's name was their account display name.

>>We're not placing restrictions on how many places one person can be at once, but please, don't have one character be everywhere.

>>What staff says goes. If a staff member is breaking a rule, let me (Tater) know about it.

>>I, personally, have no problem with swearing. but keep in mind that too much ounds idiotic (not to mention that there may be some 13-year-olds lurking about). Some can make a character seem genuine. All I ask is that you be civil about it.

>>Racist, sexist, etc...ANY discriminatory remarks will NOT be tolerated. AT ALL.

>>Last but not least- the Checkout. Any time your character buys something, put a list of the items and the prices in a post, and one of the staff will deduct that much from your account. (No RPing is required in those threads.) If you wish to give someone else's character some of your character's money, PM one of the staff. If anyone is caught changing prices in the Check-Out, that person will recieve a warning.
