At ten in the morning nobody looks good, especially after being out all night and disheveled. Phoenix Jack stumbled into the lounge making sure nobody was in there before collapsing down into one of the chairs. His head still pound with the music from the night before. Phoenix wasn't a big partier but when the opportunity approached, and he had no previous engagements he rose to the occasion.
He finally pulled himself up and out of the chair and dragged himself over to the small lockers against the wall. His was the battered one at the end. Battered because the only way to open it was to either hit it hard or kick it in the top corner. Jack lifted his foot and kicked it swiftly, opening it instantly.
He removed his black Fratelli's tee and pulled the rather old blue Wal*Mart shirt. The large smiley face mocked him in a way. Thank god he wasn't reprimanded when he altered the shirt. Safety pinning one sleeve up and made one side of the shirt look as though it was stitched with black leather X's. Of course the charming vest complimented it perfectly. He slid the vest off and kicked his other shirt into the locker.
Phoenix stretched his arms above his head and closed the locker leaving his beanie on. He slid back into a chair and put his feet up on the one to his left. Out of the pocket of the vest he pulled out a deck of cards and began shuffling them as a casino employee would.
